Can be added to the g-wire Polling Loop via the 4152LME loop module, on

zones 10 through 84 (as programmed in fields ‘05, 1’02, 1’03, 1’04 and

l’OS).These detectors have a built-in RPM which is DIP switch

programmable. They are wired in parallel to the polling loop, and do not need>

auxiliary power or a separate reset switch. The polling bDp provides power

and reset signals to the

detectors,

as well as alarm and trouble signals from

the detectors.

ADVISORIES

1. The maximum polling kop runs are as follows:

#I22 gauge @ 650’ max.

#20 gauge @ 950’ max.

818 gauge @ 1500’ max.

#16 gauge @ 2400’ max.

IMPORTANT!:

The maximum combined polling loop run is 4000’. If

using shielded wire, the max. is 2000’.

2. Twisted pair is recommended lor all normal runs, but ii an intercom system

exists, or is being planned, you must keep the poking loop at least 8’

from the Intercom wiring, or use shielded wire. If not, you might

experience intercom interterence.

WIRELESS

Can be used on zones 48 through 55 as long as that zone is enabled for RF

SMOKE DETECTORS

usage in program fields 1’23 and/or 1’24, and are programmed as FIRE

(5706)

zones, type 09, in fields 1’03 an&or 1’04. These detectors have buiit-in

transmitters and are powered from a single 9 volt battery. A 4280 RF receiver

must be connected to the a-wire polling loop driven by the 4152LMB loop

module. These transmitter/detectors are DIP switch programmable and are

fully supervised for bw battery and check-in.
