Section 5.1: Vista-10/15/20 TROUBLE SHOOTING

Check

1: All wiring connections are solid under screws

2: Power and Data wires are the correct polarity.

3: Power is on to control panel.

4: Programming has been double-checked

5: Local Area Network connection is connected via RJ45 Cord or wireless device.

LED Status Light:

Very Fast Tick Normal – No Action Needed

Three Pulses Has acquired IP Address from router. However, not connected to internet..

Two Pulses Has not acquired IP Address from router. Check– Verify network link and activity. Refer to the

Link/ACT lights located on the RJ45 jack. Light left on jack will be ON and ACT light will blink

intermittently when physical network connectivity is correct

Off ECP TX Line Fault

Check – Make sure that the ECP RX and TX lines are connected to the alarm

screw terminals as shown in the wiring diagram.
